Refunds & Returns Policy

At Guardacard, we stand behind the quality of our RFID-blocking products. This Refunds & Returns Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law and applicable international regulations.

Bust it or lose it Replacement Warranty

Guardacard does not want to see a customer without their card for any reason. If you lose or physically break your card, (Yep, it happens, we have had them accidentally cut up with old cards and accidentally burnt, people who have lost wallets or had them stolen). If this happens, just contact us at enquiries@guardacard.com, and we will arrange replacements. You will need to pay the processing fee and postage (currently $9 AUD per card). This is a lifetime offer to all our customers.


1. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind.

Guardacard offers returns for change-of-mind purchases under the following conditions:

  • The return request is made within 14 days of receiving your order
  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Once the returned item is received and inspected, an eligible refund will be issued to the original payment method. A restocking fee of $5 AUD per card applies to change of mind returns


2. Faulty or Defective Products

If your Guardacard product is faulty, defective, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the issue, this may include:

  • A replacement
  • A repair (where applicable)
  • A full refund

Please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue, including photos if relevant.


3. Items Not Eligible for Return

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Products that have been used, damaged, or altered
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Returns requested outside the stated return period
  • Clearance or final sale items (where clearly marked)

4. How to Request a Return

To request a return or refund, please contact us with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for the return
  • Supporting photos or information (if applicable)

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.


5. Refund Processing Time

Once your return is received and approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank

6. International Orders

For international customers:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty
  • Any customs duties, taxes, or shipping fees are non-refundable

7. RFID Performance Disclaimer

Guardacard RFID-blocking cards are designed to reduce the risk of unauthorised RFID scanning by blocking 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz frequencies.

While Guardacard uses patented technology and industry-leading design, and guarantee 100% RFID and NFC blocking, however, no product can guarantee 100% prevention against all forms of electronic theft in every scenario.

This does not affect your rights under consumer protection laws.
