Guardacard Warranty Policy

Effective Date: 1st January 2026

Guardacard is committed to providing high-quality RFID-blocking products. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms and conditions of our 10-year manufacturing defect warranty and our No-Fault Replacement Policy.


1. 10-Year Manufacture Warranty

Guardacard products are warranted against any manufacturing defects for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.

Coverage Includes:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Faulty construction that prevents the product from functioning as intended

What This Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper handling (see No-Fault Replacement Policy)
  • Normal wear and tear (see No-Fault Replacement Policy)
  • Loss, theft, or accidental damage (see No-Fault Replacement Policy)

How to Claim:

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Guardacard at enquiries@guardacard.com
  2. Provide proof of purchase or details so we can find the transaction
  3. Describe the defect and, if possible, provide photos

Guardacard will evaluate the claim and may offer a replacement product

The warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of the defective product and does not cover additional costs such as shipping beyond standard processing.


2. No-Fault Replacement Policy

Guardacard offers a No-Fault Replacement Policy for lost, stolen, or damaged cards.

How It Works:

  • Customers may request a replacement card at any time
  • A service fee per card applies (current fee asof January 2026 is $9 each inc postage for up to 4 cards; international postage is $4 extra)
  • We believe our customers are honest, and therefore No proof or evidence of fault is required

  3. Pay the applicable service fee

Replacement cards will be shipped promptly after the service fee is received.


3. General Terms

  • This warranty and replacement policy do not affect your statutory rights under Australian Consumer Law or applicable international consumer protection regulations.
  • Guardacard reserves the right to verify purchases before processing any warranty or replacement request.
  • Warranty and replacement claims are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
  • Guardacard reserves the right to limit the number of replacement cards issued to a customer to no more than their original order and no more than twice per 12-month period.
